Job Description
Acumatica Consultant configuring cloud ERP finance, manufacturing, construction, and distribution solutions. Delivering customer projects, training, integrations, go-live support, and ongoing issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Plan projects by understanding the order with the Sales Person and Project Lead
- Define key customer deliverables and attend customer kick-offs
- Identify commercial variances and understand customer resource constraints
- Coordinate resource planning with the Resource Lead
- Set up company parameters, chart of accounts, and financial and operational processes
- Configure financial and operational modules including distribution, project accounting, field services, and manufacturing
- Conduct gap analysis and prepare options involving custom reporting, advanced configuration, or software development
- Update project plans and keep the Project Manager informed of progress, gaps, and commercial options
- Configure security, roles, access, data-load mapping, stationery, reporting, and integrations
- Carry out sample data loads for training and testing
- Schedule and deliver training and support test-plan creation
- Provide go-live cover and support post-go-live exception reviews
- Provide support cover outside project work
- Document support cases, troubleshooting steps, and outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues and improve product performance
- Continuously update product knowledge and provide accurate guidance
Requirements:
- Experienced working in the Acumatica arena or similar cloud-based ERP systems
- Relevant business process knowledge for ERP systems
- Project delivery and methodology experience
- Customer management experience
- Ability to travel to customer sites as required
- Ability to stay overnight as required
- Ability to attend team meetings physically as required
- Availability for planned and approved evening and weekend work as required
