Job Description

ADHD Specialist providing virtual executive-function coaching for Texas Sports Academy, a K-12 school for elite student-athletes. Supporting academic progress through individualized routines, group sessions, and collaboration with guides, coaches, and parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one with students on time management, task initiation, planning, and self-monitoring
  • Build individualized executive-function systems for students
  • Meet regularly with assigned students over video to address academic challenges, build routines, and problem-solve
  • Run focused small-group sessions on study skills, organization, and academic habits
  • Collaborate with academic guides and athletic coaches to provide consistent support
  • Send parents regular updates on strategies, progress, and areas of growth
  • Involve parents early when support strategies are not working
  • Help students set up and navigate learning platforms so the tools support their focus

Requirements:

  • Direct experience supporting students with ADHD or executive function challenges, with specific examples of impact
  • Experience building durable routines and systems and adapting strategies when needed
  • Strong listening and communication skills, including explaining approaches to parents and staff in plain language
  • Comfortable working in a competitive youth athletics environment
  • Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, special education, or a related field
  • Must be based in the U.S.
  • Bonus: virtual experience coaching, tutoring, or supporting children
  • Bonus: formal executive function coaching certification or related training
