Job Description
Application Solution Engineer at SGS supporting the global rollout of Oracle Fusion ERP. Responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing scalable ERP solutions aligned with compliance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the global rollout of Oracle Fusion ERP across multiple regions
- Design, configure, and implement scalable ERP solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and implementation teams
- Conduct solution design reviews and assess technical feasibility
- Perform fit-gap analysis between Oracle standard functionality and business needs
- Develop and optimize reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher
- Define integration strategies and oversee implementations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware
- Prepare and execute test plans for SIT, UAT, and regression testing
- Implement role-based access controls
- Coordinate deployment activities across regions
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proven experience implementing Oracle Fusion ERP (Financials, Procurement, Projects)
- Strong understanding of global business processes, compliance, and software lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with: REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and Oracle Integration Cloud or similar middleware
- OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Transactional BI.
- Cloud & SaaS fundamentals, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Personalization & extension tools (Page Composer, Application Composer with Groovy, Sandbox Framework, Visual Builder Studio)
- Security Console for role-based access and segregation of duties
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
- Proactive, independent, and committed to continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2 (Nice to have)
