Job Description
Application Support Analyst supporting Medlogix’s medical claims solutions through SQL-based troubleshooting and configuration. Monitoring workflows, resolving incidents, and improving enterprise application processes remotely in MST/PST time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proprietary MS-SQL-based enterprise business solution is supported to the highest possible standard with maximum productivity and efficiency
- Monitor logs for alerts, errors, and aging workflows requiring analysis and resolution
- Monitor automated data imports and exports
- Monitor user incident reports for prioritization and resolution
- Troubleshoot issues from logs and user incident reports
- Define, develop, and provide application problem analysis and resolution services for complex application problems with users
- Provide suggestions for system and business improvements
- Collaborate with PMO and business leads to manage application configuration based on evolving client needs
- Manage new client configurations via interfaces and scripting
- Manage existing interfaces and design new application support interfaces
- Import new data sets based on subscriptions with external partners and vendors
- Document workflows and produce process flow diagrams
- Document support procedures and knowledgebase content
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- T-SQL skills
- Office 365 skills, including SharePoint and Visio
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to read and understand C#, JavaScript, and/or PowerShell preferred
- Understanding of change and release management preferred
- Ability to solve complex technical problems
- Knowledge of T-SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment and discuss issues and solutions
- Ability to identify data patterns or issues and problem-solve with developers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience or certifications
- 2+ years of application support experience
- Experience analyzing data with SQL
- Experience working with C# or a similar object-oriented programming language
- JavaScript experience preferred but not required
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow preferred
