Job Description
Application Support Developer optimizing business-critical applications in the Mainframe environment at Expleo. Collaborating with departments and improving system performance and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains and optimizes business-critical applications in the mainframe environment
- Supports the operation of existing systems, analyzes and resolves technical incidents
- Works closely with business units and technical teams to efficiently implement business requirements
- Performs root-cause analysis, testing and incident management to ensure high software quality
- Provides support for batch job control, job scheduling and database applications in the mainframe environment
Requirements:
- Solid experience in developing and maintaining applications using COBOL
- Knowledge of PL/1, Assembler and SQL is an advantage
- Experience collaborating with business units, development teams and stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Excellent German skills (at least C1) and good English skills
