Job Description
Area Business Manager responsible for a team across neuroscience and cardiovascular portfolios. Engaging with clients and driving commercial performance in a science-intensive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team across Neuroscience and Cardiovascular portfolios
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage 9–12 representatives
- Establish clear team goals and hold members accountable to performance standards
- Develop and implement strategic area business plans
- Build and maintain relationships with customers including KOLs, large group practices, hospitals, and managed care organizations
- Ensure compliance of all selling activities with legal, regulatory, and Pfizer policy requirements
- Expert operation of digital and virtual tools and platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a demonstrated leadership role
- Experience engaging key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record; any DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within the past 7 years is disqualifying
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and create meaningful business impact
