Job Description
Associate Project Manager managing COA/eCOA translation and localization projects for ICON’s global healthcare research services. Coordinating clients, translators, reviewers, budgets, timelines, and quality delivery in China.
Responsibilities:
- Manage planning, execution, and delivery of global and local COA/eCOA projects
- Manage local COA/eCOA projects for China with fast turnaround times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in and outside China to secure deliverables
- Liaise with local client representatives in China to manage expectations and monitor project progress
- Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes
- Facilitate communication and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate team members and clients throughout project execution
- Select and assign translators and reviewers
- Conduct final checks of deliverables and coordinate delivery to clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in life science, linguistic project management, or a related field
- Advanced degree preferred
- PM position: +5 years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management at a translation company or in a corporate translation department
- APM position: +2 years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management at a translation company or in a corporate translation department
- Business level Chinese and English proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Commitment to high standards of quality and compliance
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with translation management systems and CAT tools
- Quality-oriented and problem-solving abilities
- Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
