Job Description

Senior Project Manager leading SAP and supply-chain consulting projects for mission-critical organizations. Managing teams, budgets, client relationships, delivery, quality, and government-cleared engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality projects within time and cost constraints
  • Develop project plans, manage resources and budgets, and maintain timelines and milestones
  • Maintain visibility of project work using documented tools, processes, SOPs, playbooks, and runbooks
  • Build productive relationships with business leaders, sponsors, analysts, architects, vendors, and clients
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, and resources
  • Serve as the primary client-facing project representative throughout the project lifecycle
  • Build and motivate project teams, provide guidance, and address performance issues
  • Direct project scheduling, work assignments, and review of project efforts
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget go-live and high customer satisfaction
  • Maintain clear communication on scope, procedures, and auditability
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, HR, training, safety, quality, and information-security requirements
  • Prepare project reports, schedules, presentations, and other documentation
  • Advise customers on communications, change management, training strategy, and testing strategy
  • Gather information to estimate project costs, resources, time, and deliverables
  • Set quality standards and ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards
  • Estimate physical, financial, and human-capital project costs
  • Negotiate conflicts and resolve project issues among stakeholders and team members
  • Act as a trusted client advisor
  • Track progress, identify risks or delays, and proactively develop solutions
  • Keep senior leaders and stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and deviations
  • Lead project closure, including client acceptance, documentation, and knowledge transfer
  • Participate in certified quality-assurance processes and protect sensitive information
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Project Management certification, such as PMP or another equivalent nationally recognized certification
  • Ten (10) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in IT and/or consulting
  • Ten (10) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in IT and/or consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field with ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel at least 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, mostly to New Cumberland, Pennsylvania
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
  • Warehousing, logistics and/or supply chain PM experience (nice to have)
  • Prior government/federal PM experience (nice to have)
