Job Description

Senior Project Manager leading global data center infrastructure upgrades and retrofits. Managing budgets, risks, contractors, design teams, and cross-functional delivery for Turner & Townsend.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global data center infrastructure upgrade and retrofit projects across the client’s portfolio
  • Run construction program process administration across multiple global locations
  • Develop program budgets, cash flow, commitments, forecasts, and funding requests
  • Lead cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous programs
  • Engage technical authorities and collaborators to initiate programs and develop documentation
  • Identify process and communication gaps and implement solutions
  • Prepare program reporting covering schedule, budget, performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Improve upgrade and retrofit processes, documentation, workflows, field execution, and delivery
  • Provide project execution mentorship across the project lifecycle
  • Establish master project timelines and budgets with project controls, contractors, and design teams
  • Evaluate technical issues and develop solutions
  • Support schematic and design development reviews
  • Support contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis, and recommendations
  • Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering
  • Lead program and project risk, cost, change control, dashboards, and monthly updates
  • Maintain lessons learned logs and program-level document control
  • Ensure QA/QC compliance and report issues or gaps
  • Coordinate and manage owner-direct vendors, supply chain, and consultants
  • Establish closeout documentation requirements
  • Lead direct and matrix-report teams, including recruitment, staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and retention
  • Model behaviors consistent with the company’s RISE values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering preferred
  • At least 5+ years of previous program management experience
  • At least 3 years focused on data center infrastructure or critical environments
  • Formal Program Management methods / standard methodologies
  • Cross-functional team participation in a high-tech, multifaceted environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, technical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality programs
  • Strong change management experience in development, implementation, and execution
  • Proven track record in talent assessment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
  • Primavera P6 knowledge preferred
  • Detail oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced and quickly-changing environment
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
