Job Description
Senior Project Manager designing AI-enabled learning experiences for McKesson’s healthcare workforce. Driving instructional design, transformation, scalability, and learning technology innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop modern, high-impact learning experiences supporting workforce capability and business transformation
- Design performance-focused learning solutions across multiple modalities
- Apply instructional design methodologies to create learner-centered experiences
- Partner with subject matter experts to translate business knowledge into actionable learning
- Evaluate and implement emerging tools and technologies to enhance learning outcomes
- Diagnose performance gaps and business needs with stakeholders
- Recommend solutions that improve performance and results
- Align development strategies with business priorities and transformation objectives
- Enable business transformation through learning and adoption strategies
- Build scalable capabilities supporting evolving ways of working
- Define success metrics and use data to measure learning effectiveness and business impact
- Design scalable learning frameworks, standards, and architectures
- Design AI-enabled learning experiences and leverage AI to accelerate content development and delivery
- Pilot innovative approaches and advance AI best practices across learning
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including BU Finance Leaders, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams
- Build and train high-performing teams while modeling I 2 CARE and ILEAD behaviors
- Drive operational maturity through automation and self-service capabilities
- Complete work accurately and timely in a high-pressure environment
Requirements:
- Degree, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience implementing and managing a learning management system (LMS)
- Experience applying instructional design methodologies
- Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Ceros, or similar
- Working knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, and emerging agentic AI capabilities
- Experience leveraging AI tools in content development, instructional design, or learning technology
- Experience managing or working on small matrixed teams
- Experience leading projects across functional boundaries
- Familiarity with ADDIE or SAM learning frameworks and/or similar methodologies is a plus
- Advanced writing, storyboarding, and verbal communication skills
- Polished presentation and visual design skills
- Proven results as a Change Manager/Leader or project manager
- Ability to identify connections between skillsets and strategic objectives
- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to facilitate and communicate effectively in a hybrid environment
- Willingness to travel 10%
