Job Description

Associate Research Analyst supporting Property Tax and Research functions through foundational research and compliance projects. Ideal for individuals beginning a career in tax research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze compliance matters relating to Property Tax such as tax due dates, depreciation schedules, jurisdictional addresses, electronic filing and payments, and form changes
  • Communicate with state and local jurisdictions regarding issues/irregularities
  • Conduct basic research on client questions and concisely summarize findings
  • Accurately and proactively maintain the Tax Resource Database for address information, assessment ratios, depreciation tables, due dates, and other data
  • Resolve tickets created through Property Tax Research (PTR) JIRA Project
  • Facilitate collaboration between Research, Training, Compliance, and Consulting teams

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in related field required or equivalent work experience
  • 0–1 years of experience in tax research, compliance, or related fields.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with reading and understanding legal documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Moderate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail is required
