Job Description
Invoicing Associate Supervisor leading analysts, billing escalations, and process improvements. Supporting timely revenue recognition at VB Spine, a spinal medical technology company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop Invoicing Analysts to achieve departmental goals
- Balance workloads with management to ensure equitable distribution and timely completion of work
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing and invoicing issues
- Monitor team productivity, quality, and service levels while providing ongoing feedback
- Drive accountability for individual and team performance
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Accounts Receivable, and other internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing barriers
- Monitor aging orders and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues
- Analyze reporting to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support training, onboarding, and continuous development of team members
- Continuously improve processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Drive timely revenue recognition through operational excellence
Requirements:
- Experience leading or mentoring employees preferred
- Strong understanding of order management, invoicing, billing, or revenue operations
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Leadership style that leads by example, holds self and others accountable, removes roadblocks, builds strong cross-functional partnerships, and focuses on continuous improvement
