Job Description

Donor Information Associate reviewing medical charts and determining donor eligibility for Evergen, a regenerative medicine CDMO. Managing confidential records, databases, quality reviews, and associate training.

Responsibilities:

  • Make recommendations focused on maximizing service quality and cost efficiency as a subject matter expert
  • Utilize medical knowledge to determine donor eligibility
  • Work with external partners to obtain complete and accurate medical chart information
  • Analyze and organize confidential medical information in paper and electronic medical records
  • Manage donor medical records and databases for statistical reports
  • Perform quality reviews of departmental work
  • Assist with educating and training other associates
  • Complete training as coordinator, first review, second review, and one other role
  • Ensure donor medical records are complete, accurate, and confidential
  • Locate, print, scan, and organize paper and electronic medical charts
  • Verify information in medical charts and assist with archiving records
  • Maintain the department inbox
  • Mentor less-experienced team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 6 or more years chart reviewing experience
  • 5 years of industry experience preferred
  • Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirements
  • CTBS certification preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Digital Chart Software
  • Confidentiality
  • Ability to move or lift objects up to 25 pounds
  • Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays
  • Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.)
  • Onsite office environment with assigned workstation, or home office environment for remote positions
