Job Description
Associate Training & Communications Specialist creating accessible training and communications for Rackner’s U.S. government data, analytics, governance, and AI initiatives. Supporting e-learning, SharePoint, LMS administration, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop training content supporting data literacy, AI literacy, analytics, governance, and modernization initiatives
- Develop competency-based learning experiences aligned with learning objectives and audience needs
- Create interactive e-learning modules, written materials, voice-over presentations, instructional videos, instructor-led materials, exercises, and knowledge checks
- Develop multimedia and interactive content that makes technical concepts accessible to diverse professional audiences
- Create assessments to measure learner understanding and competency
- Develop facilitator guides, instructor materials, user guides, job aids, quick-reference guides, FAQs, and performance-support materials
- Produce stakeholder engagement materials and communications products supporting data and technology initiatives
- Translate technical and program information into clear content for non-technical audiences
- Support communications planning and stakeholder outreach
- Support learning management system administration, course organization, publishing, and maintenance
- Publish and maintain training and communications content in Government SharePoint environments
- Manage training-material libraries, source files, templates, version control, updates, retirement, and replacement of learning products
- Pilot training modules, collect and analyze feedback, and revise training products
- Support training delivery, demonstrations, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities
- Coordinate with subject matter experts, technical teams, analysts, data engineers, AI/ML specialists, and Government stakeholders
- Support requirements gathering to identify training needs, audiences, objectives, and delivery approaches
- Ensure products meet accessibility, usability, and organizational standards
- Maintain editable source files and documentation
- Support independent maintenance, modification, reuse, knowledge transfer, and transition of products to Government personnel
Requirements:
- Experience developing training, instructional content, or e-learning products for adult professional audiences
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, or equivalent platforms
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and andragogical instructional design
- Experience developing competency-based learning or skills-focused training
- Experience creating instructional materials across written, visual, interactive, and multimedia formats
- Experience developing user guides, job aids, quick-reference materials, or similar performance-support products
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical or complex concepts into clear content for non-technical audiences
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and validate instructional content
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple training and communications products concurrently
- Experience incorporating stakeholder and learner feedback into revised materials
- Active Secret clearance
- Preferred: Experience with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise
- Preferred: Experience publishing and maintaining content within Microsoft SharePoint
- Preferred: Experience with learning management systems and digital training platforms
- Preferred: Familiarity with competency-based learning frameworks
- Preferred: Experience developing data literacy or AI literacy training
- Preferred: Experience developing training for analytics, data governance, business intelligence, AI, or technology modernization initiatives
- Preferred: Experience producing short-form instructional videos or narrated training content
- Preferred: Experience designing assessments, knowledge checks, or competency evaluations
- Preferred: Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power Platform, or AI-enabled Microsoft technologies
- Preferred: Experience developing facilitator guides for instructor-led training
- Preferred: Experience supporting communications, stakeholder engagement, or technology adoption initiatives
- Preferred: Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and accessible instructional design
- Preferred: Experience working within Department of Defense, federal, or education environments
