Job Description
Authorization representative processing enteral nutrition orders for CVS Health’s home healthcare services. Updating patient records and coordinating admissions documentation before shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Process authorization and prescription requests for the Enteral Nutrition department
- Ensure all documentation is accurate before shipping orders
- Process new patient orders
- Update electronic medical records
- Work with the Patient Admissions department to help bring patients on service with the Company
Requirements:
- Experience with data entry
- Experience working in Microsoft Office programs
- Prior DME experience
- Previous Customer Service experience
- Basic math skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience working in a healthcare environment (preferred)
- Home infusions or durable medical equipment (DME) experience (preferred)
- Experience working with healthcare insurance (preferred)
