Job Description
Automation Test Analyst automating GUI and REST API testing for Arηs Group, an Accenture-owned public-sector IT solutions provider. Supporting quality assurance, integration testing, and user acceptance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Define test cases and report test results
- Design, code and execute automated GUI tests using Selenium WebDriver with C# unit tests
- Design, code and execute functional automated API tests on REST services using C# RestSharp
- Define and execute functional manual test scenarios and scripts that are difficult to automate
- Identify, retest and report defects
- Support the definition of test plans
- Support user acceptance testing activities
- Support systems integrations through active involvement in implementation and testing of API integrations on REST web services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of English B2 or higher Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (self-assessment)
- More than 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance in the role of Test Analyst and Test Automation Engineer
- Participation in a minimum of 3 projects requiring GUI and API testing
- Good knowledge of C# or JAVA programming language in the context of test automation
- Usage of object-oriented techniques, dependency injection, design patterns and best principles
- Knowledge of Git and working with pull requests
- Good knowledge of manual regression testing and regression test automation at UI and API level using appropriate frameworks, such as RestAssured, RestSharp, HttpClient, WebDriver or Playwright
- Good knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) methodology, principles and practical implementation, such as Gherkin, Cucumber or Reqnroll
- Good knowledge of automation using BDD tools, such as SpecFlow, Reqnroll or Cucumber
- Good knowledge of DevOps best practices, including continuous testing and build/release pipelines in Azure DevOps (TFS)
- Good knowledge of system- and acceptance-level testing using dynamic, static and experience-based test techniques or a risk-based testing approach
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of testing with Remote Procedure Call (RPC) frameworks/APIs, such as gRPC
- Good knowledge of non-functional testing with tools covering at least one non-functional quality characteristic, such as ICT technical security using SAST or DAST tools/scans, performance or reliability
- Capability to integrate in an international/multicultural environment, rapidly self-start and work in a team following Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Experience working with EU institutions or agencies, including understanding of ICD documentation, compliance and validation processes
