Job Description
AVP of Finance managing financial operations and contributing to budgeting at Tidal Financial Group. Focusing on process improvement and AI integration within finance workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and streamline financial operations
- Lead and operationalize the monthly and quarterly close
- Perform and review financial reporting
- Oversee corporate spending
- Lead fund expense management
- Drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- B.A/B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field
- 5–7+ years of progressive Finance or Accounting experience
- Strong Excel and data manipulation skills (vlookup, sumifs, index/match, etc.)
- Experience managing or mentoring finance team members
- Day-to-day proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude)
- Highly motivated and adaptable
