Job Description

Drug Access Navigator providing support to patients regarding medication access and connecting with healthcare providers. Working in Cencora's patient support and pharma commercialization services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to patients and health care providers regarding medication access
  • Work with patients to complete a needs assessment related to medication access
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, health care providers, and payers
  • Provide answers to general inquiry calls regarding program services or product-related questions
  • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including data collection and patient follow-up
  • Work directly with the reimbursement specialist to secure funding for therapies
  • Prepare for and attend training sessions for specific therapies
  • Attend meetings to educate patients and providers on Patient Support Program services
  • Establish partnerships with healthcare providers and other agencies to coordinate services

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, or related experience
  • Preference for greater than five (5) years of experience
  • Bilingualism (French and English) strongly preferred
  • Case management experience in medical or hospital practice or insurance or bio-pharma industry
