Job Description
Builders using AI coding assistants to develop real projects in recorded OpenCode sessions. Flexible remote contract work supporting Mercor’s AI research partner.
Responsibilities:
- Build or improve your own real project using the provided open-weight and Gemini models
- Choose which model to use for each task and switch models naturally as needed
- Use one chat per task in OpenCode
- Complete normal work sessions while the session is recorded for AI research
Requirements:
- Actively building a real project, such as a side project, startup, app, or LLM-powered feature
- Uses AI tools to build, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Cline, Replit, or Lovable
- Comfortable following simple terminal setup steps on Mac or Linux
- Professional coding experience is welcome but not required
- Non-coders who build with AI are encouraged to apply
Benefits:
- $200 per accepted session
