Job Description
Software Development Instructor teaching MERN, TypeScript, APIs, and AI integrations at Germany’s WBS CODING SCHOOL. Mentoring diverse learners through coding lessons, reviews, assessments, and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cohorts of students throughout their learning journey
- Provide structure, guidance, and motivation to students
- Create and deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and live coding sessions
- Resolve technical questions, blockers, and learning challenges
- Process student feedback and learning data to improve teaching quality
- Conduct code reviews and assessments
- Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions to support individual growth
- Help shape the future of tech talent at WBS CODING SCHOOL
- Collaborate across instructional and program teams
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with modern full-stack web development
- Especially MERN stack, TypeScript, and API-based architectures
- Practical exposure to AI integrations in web applications
- Proven ability to teach, mentor, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to learners with diverse backgrounds
- Fluent German (C1–C2 level, ideally native)
- Fluent English
- Experience with C#, Java, or similar programming languages is desirable
- Solid understanding of professional software development workflows
- Ability to model clean, structured, and maintainable coding practices
- Empathy, structure, and learner-focused approach
- Willingness to continuously learn, grow, and improve technical skills and teaching methods
- Ability to collaborate across instructional and program teams
