Job Description
Ingenieur für technische Betreuung und Instandhaltung der Berliner Omnibusflotte bei BVG. Koordination von Fahrzeugherstellern, Werkstätten, Fehlerdiagnose und Garantieprozessen.
Responsibilities:
- Play an active role in the technical development and reliable maintenance of the bus fleet
- Act as the technical liaison between workshops and vehicle and system manufacturers
- Analyze faults and vulnerabilities and coordinate technical improvement measures
- Manage the vehicle systems of existing vehicles and coordinate technical and operational requirements
- Develop and optimize maintenance strategies and processes
- Take full responsibility for warranty, statutory guarantee, and goodwill cases
Requirements:
- Completed degree (Bachelor’s or University of Applied Sciences degree) in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification based on many years of professional experience
- Fluent German language skills (at least C1 level)
- Knowledge of technical regulations and legislation, including DGUV regulations and DIN standards
- Sound knowledge of maintenance processes, electronic vehicle systems, and systematic fault diagnosis
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner when acting as the interface between vehicle manufacturers and workshops, and when coordinating and aligning requests and requirements
