Job Description
Agentic Designer creating high-quality digital curriculum content using AI tools for Virtual Arkansas. Collaborating with specialists and ensuring digital content meets various standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with specialists, agencies, and developers in a phased approach for producing quality digital curriculum content appropriate to the assigned course according to state content standards or other applicable content standards
- Use AI tools to generate, refine, and revise lesson scripts, assessments, learning objects, media descriptions, and support materials
- Curate and create accessible, copyright-compliant digital content
- Participate in collaborative team meetings and professional development for personal growth and skill acquisition related to project needs
- Independently build all course content into the LMS, using AI-assisted workflows where appropriate
- Apply research-based instructional design, usability, and accessibility best practices throughout the design and development process
- Attend course planning and design meetings, whether virtual or face-to-face
- Pay close attention to detail and review all content, including AI output, to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of content
- Serve as a student-perspective reviewer to ensure clarity, usability, and engagement
- Prioritize and adapt to meet required deadlines
- Abide by all Virtual Arkansas and applicable Arch Ford ESC policies and/or regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (minimum); Master's degree desired
- Three years of blended/online teaching experience is desired
- Online course development and design experience is desired
- Demonstrates high-quality verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates creative writing and research abilities
- Teacher Licensure for the requested content area and grade level
- Experience with AI tools for content creation, planning, or development preferred (training provided)
