Job Description
COO running Airtm’s operating cadence, payments, compliance, and enterprise operations. Scaling stablecoin-wallet infrastructure that moves money across LATAM and 40+ markets.
Responsibilities:
- Run Airtm’s operating engine, organizational accountability, operating cadence, and cross-functional execution
- Ensure teams deliver objectives and execute the CEO’s vision and strategy across 40+ markets
- Own company-wide goals, the OKR cycle, annual objectives, team-level key results, and business rhythm
- Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Marketplace, Pricing & Revenue, Finance, and Compliance
- Own payout success rates, corridor reliability, banking and on/off-ramp partner performance, and incident response
- Make the business operate within regulatory frameworks at speed, including fraud operations and market entries/exits
- Own customer and enterprise operations, support quality and cost, enterprise payout-partner SLAs, and onboarding
- Partner with the founder-CEO and finance, compliance, product, and revenue leaders
Requirements:
- 10+ years in operations leadership, with at least 5 years in fintech, payments, or crypto
- Experience operating in emerging markets; LATAM strongly preferred
- Fluency in compliance realities of money movement, including MSB/VASP frameworks, AML programs, regulator and banking-partner relationships
- Experience scaling an operation through a step-change in volume (e.g., 3–10x)
- Fluency in data and unit economics
- Spanish and English fluency; comfort working across LATAM
- Bonus: hands-on experience with stablecoins/USDC rails or two-sided liquidity problems
