Job Description
Chief Operating Officer overseeing the firm's operations, investment processes, and ecosystem initiatives at 16VC. Collaborating with the Founder & General Partner to build a scalable venture platform.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the firm's operations, investment processes, founder programs, and ecosystem initiatives.
- Work closely with the Founder & General Partner to build a scalable venture platform that supports founders, investors, and portfolio companies.
- Lead day-to-day operations of 16VC.
- Build and improve internal systems, processes, and workflows.
- Manage legal, finance, compliance, and administrative operations.
- Coordinate deal flow, due diligence, and investment execution.
- Manage SPV setup, documentation, and closing processes.
- Maintain portfolio and investment reporting systems.
- Oversee portfolio onboarding and founder engagement.
- Manage founder support initiatives and strategic programs.
- Support LP communications and reporting.
- Coordinate investor updates, meetings, and documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships across the investor network.
- Support events, community initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
- Experience in venture capital, startups, private equity, consulting, or operations leadership.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and initiatives simultaneously.
- Understanding of startup ecosystems and venture investing.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
