Job Description

Clinical Director overseeing substance use disorder services at Freedom Recovery Centers of Indiana. Leading clinical operations and managing virtual treatment programs in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all substance use disorder services, effective upon facility licensure.
  • Maintain an active virtual IOP caseload, including facilitation of group therapy and provision of individual counseling services within scope of licensure.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate clinical programming to ensure effectiveness, fidelity to evidence-based models, and positive client outcomes.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff using trauma-informed supervision, reflective practice, and performance-based feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with Indiana state licensing standards, Medicaid and payer requirements, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and applicable accreditation bodies.
  • Oversee clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, medical necessity, and regulatory compliance, and implement corrective action plans when indicated.
  • Guide treatment planning, ethical decision-making, and crisis intervention protocols to ensure client safety and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with executive, operational, and administrative leadership to support staffing models, licensure readiness, and program growth.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor clinical outcomes, staff performance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted LCAC license in the State of Indiana.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience providing virtual clinical services and managing telehealth-based treatment programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of Indiana behavioral health licensing regulations, Medicaid requirements, and substance use disorder compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance clinical leadership responsibilities with direct service delivery in a remote environment.
