Job Description

Clinical Project Manager leading US clinical projects for ICON, a global clinical research organization. Coordinating timelines, budgets, risks, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate clinical project activities for US clinical projects
  • Coordinate project and programme management delivery
  • Resolve project issues and develop team capability
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate communication and collaboration
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Engage stakeholders, manage expectations, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project and organizational goals
  • Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Solid project and programme management experience
  • Significant experience in project management and team leadership
  • Proven track record managing projects from inception to completion within scope, time, and budget constraints
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, manage project teams, and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
  • Commitment to achieving project goals and driving continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel as required, approximately 30%
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
