Job Description
Clinical Research Associate II at AbbVie leading global drug studies in Germany. Managing study execution, coordination, and compliance for clinical trials through collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities:
- As a Clinical Research Associate II, you play a key role in the clinical development of our medicines: you are responsible for implementing global studies in Germany.
- Study management: You are responsible for a selection of studies — from site selection and initiation through conduct to close-out.
- Coordination: You work closely with your local CRA colleagues across various study teams and contribute to on-time project delivery through proactive planning.
- Monitoring: You oversee a portfolio of investigational sites and monitor collaboration with partners and authorities as well as overall site management together with your local CRA colleagues.
- Compliance: You ensure that all internal and external requirements are met in your projects and that investigational sites are always inspection-ready.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in a health-related discipline (e.g., medicine, life sciences, pharmacy)
- At least 2 years of on-site and remote monitoring experience in clinical trials (Phases 1–4) and solid knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Strong planning skills, excellent organizational ability and analytical thinking; independent and structured working style
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, self-reflection, flexibility and persuasiveness
- Fluent German and English (business/professional level).
