Job Description
Abbott neuromodulation Clinical Specialist supporting DBS and SCS implantation and follow-up across UK NHS and private hospitals. Field-based role covering London, Surrey, Berkshire and nearby areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary technical support to customers during implantation and follow-up
- Perform complex device/programming troubleshooting independently
- Assist in the management and delivery of regional customer education training events
- Develop a clear understanding of regional account objectives and strategy for all accounts within the assigned region
- Build strong and professional relationships in various hospital settings
- Support regional NMD business strategy via product implantation cover in accounts as agreed with the leadership team
- Travel a minimum of 75% of the time in this field-based role
- Support DBS and SCS implantation and follow-up across designated NHS and private hospitals
Requirements:
- BSc degree, ideally in a Scientific discipline
- Experience in medical devices industry or physiotherapist/Pain Nurse looking to move into industry
- Knowledge of UK healthcare market
- Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable with regards working hours and location of customer support
- Strong Communication Skills: Verbal and Written
- Familiarity with clinic setting and operating room procedures and protocol (preferred)
- Good keyboard skills and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Email
