Job Description

Clinical Services Operational Specialist supporting claims, records processing, and administrative workflows. BAC provides innovative services and opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational and administrative support within assigned departments or teams
  • Prepare, verify, enter, organize, sort, route, and process electronic records through assigned workflows
  • Conduct research to resolve unique or complex errors, record issues, workflow questions, and system-related concerns
  • Communicate research findings, record status, and workflow information to staff, peers, and leaders
  • Provide guidance based on research findings, established procedures, and business needs
  • Monitor, track, and communicate workload status
  • Create, receive, process, and route incoming and outgoing communications
  • Cross-train and support multiple functions or workloads
  • Prioritize functions and workloads based on business needs, deadlines, and leadership direction
  • Collaborate and communicate with peers, leaders, and internal stakeholders
  • Process live claims using applicable computer systems, as assigned
  • Mentor or train peers, as assigned
  • Perform other duties, special projects, and assignments as required
  • Support inspections, meetings, incident response, and contract operations through local movement within local sites

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or administrative support experience
  • Must successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings, including a drug screening
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required access approvals, credentials, or background clearances applicable to the assigned contract or work location
  • Ability to work accurately in multiple computer systems simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research, analyze, and resolve record or workflow issues
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize assignments, and adapt to changing business needs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, leaders, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Must be able to perform established essential functions and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move standard office materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Candidates must reside within 55 miles of Rockledge, Florida
