Job Description
Cloud Accountant at AMLB providing bookkeeping and financial services for Canadian clients. Collaborating remotely to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of growth-oriented clients in a wide range of industries across Canada, ensuring that deliverables are timely, accurate, and aligned with client expectations
- Take ownership of delivering timely and accurate bookkeeping, accounts payable, month-end / quarter-end close, sales tax filing preparation and management reporting responsibilities for a portfolio of Canadian clients utilizing a variety of cloud-based software
- Prepare monthly or quarterly financial analysis and reporting, including participation in client discussions via Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams
- Respond to all client queries within 1 business day
- Enhance sustainability and effectiveness of key processes by recording training videos and creating step by step procedures
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle cloud bookkeeping or accounting using Quickbooks Online or Xero for a portfolio of 10+ clients simultaneously
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) is preferred
- Experience completing bank reconciliations, clearing accounts, and completing sales tax filings, payables and invoicing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and due dates to produce high quality deliverables
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Teams in particular) and a passion for technology
- Demonstrated adaptability to test and quickly learn new concepts and tools
- Self-starter who works well autonomously and thrives in a fast-paced environment
