Job Description
Cloud Administrator ensuring stable operations for Kubernetes, databases, and automation processes. Join a leading cloud provider delivering SAP solutions globally.
Responsibilities:
- You ensure the stable operation of our platform and make sure Kubernetes clusters, databases, and automation processes run reliably.
- You act as the operational foundation for development and work closely with the team to ensure deployments are efficient, reproducible, and secure.
- Operate and monitor our Kubernetes clusters in on-premise data centers
- Support deployments, root cause analysis, and performance optimizations
- Implement and operate automated deployments and GitOps processes
- Automate recurring tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Operate and perform basic tuning of PostgreSQL databases
- Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Support capacity and resource management
- Act as the interface to development: gather requirements and provide feedback on deployments and processes
- Bring an interest in AI topics and explore opportunities for automation or orchestration
Requirements:
- Experience operating Linux systems
- Some hands-on exposure to Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Team player with a willingness to learn new technologies
- Interest in AI topics
- Fluent German and good English skills
