Job Description
Cloud engineer delivering Microsoft Azure infrastructure and modernisation projects for Climb Global Services. Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Azure projects for clients across design, implementation, and capability release
- Deliver cloud infrastructure and modernisation projects
- Conduct workshops and health checks
- Provide escalation support to front-line teams
- Participate in project planning, design, configuration, delivery, and testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and deploy Microsoft Azure solutions compliant with the Azure Well Architected Framework
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures
- Analyse current business practices, processes, and procedures and identify modernisation opportunities
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies
- Maintain technical knowledge through active solution delivery and expand skills in digital transformation
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Infrastructure Services, Azure Platform services, App Services, Database Services, Storage services, Azure backup and recovery services, and Azure Monitor
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Modern authentication, and Single Sign-on
- Good level of knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
- Working knowledge of networking concepts and hybrid network design
- Good understanding of Microsoft reference architectures and when they should be used
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate Microsoft Azure capabilities and business benefits to client stakeholders
- Passion for learning new technologies and methodologies
- Preferably experience within IT infrastructure, including on-premises, hybrid, and/or cloud-native environments
- Preferably experience with large organisations and enterprise-scale platforms
- Experience working for an MSP or service provider
- Demonstrable certifications and experience deploying infrastructure- and platform-based solutions or managing modern platform services
- Comfortable delivering to tight timescales while managing multiple Azure projects in various environments
- AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification ideally held as a minimum
- Desirable exams may include AZ-700, AZ-900, and AZ-140
