Job Description
Cloud Solutions Architect responsible for AWS infrastructure implementation and optimization. Leading modernization and automation initiatives for secure and scalable technology operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity, stability, performance, and security.
- Implement automations using Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) to standardize configurations and deployments.
- Design scalable internal solutions following AWS best practices and the Well-Architected Framework.
- Manage key components such as VPCs, subnets, load balancers, routing, VPN, Transit Gateway (TGW), hybrid connectivity, and managed services.
- Maintain core services (EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, EKS/ECS, CloudWatch) and resolve complex incidents.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with internal teams to enable reliable and secure deployments.
- Implement security controls: IAM, access policies, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance with standards.
- Participate in internal modernization, migration, and adoption projects for new cloud services.
- Develop technical documentation (HLD/LLD), corporate standards, and operating models.
- Analyze and remediate incidents, proposing structural and operational improvements.
- Contribute to cost optimization (FinOps) by reviewing resource usage and recommending adjustments.
- Evaluate new technologies, identify improvement opportunities, and support planning of the internal cloud roadmap.
Requirements:
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telematics, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations, or AWS Architecture
- Strong experience administering AWS services (EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Cloud networking and security (VPC, routing, WAF, IAM, KMS)
- Containers (ECS/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Governance, compliance, and secure operations
- Cost optimization and consumption analysis
- English: Required B1/B2 level (technical reading, meetings, and written communication)
