Job Description
Commercial strategy manager driving reporting, planning, and cross-functional initiatives for Virta Health’s virtual metabolic-care business. Translating data into executive decisions and operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead key components of the Commercial Strategy and Operations function as a strategic partner to Commercial leaders
- Own operational reporting, OKR performance management, forecasting, and planning
- Translate Commercial goals into projects, priorities, and operating plans
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from scoping through implementation
- Manage risks, dependencies, decisions, and communication
- Translate complex or ambiguous data into insights, business implications, and recommendations
- Develop executive- and Board-level materials on performance, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Implement scalable improvements to Commercial processes, systems, and reporting
- Develop understanding of Virta’s Commercial strategy, teams, performance drivers, and cross-functional dependencies within the first 90 days
- Establish relationships with Commercial leaders and key organizational partners
- Assume ownership of Commercial reporting, planning, and OKR operating cadences
- Lead a high-impact initiative improving Commercial effectiveness or operational efficiency
Requirements:
- 5-7 years at a leading management consulting firm, investment bank, or internal strategy team
- Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate data into actionable recommendations
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to influence leaders and cross-functional partners
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, business intelligence tools, and Salesforce
- Must follow Virta's security and privacy procedures for sensitive patient information governed by HIPAA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status to legally work in the United States
