Job Description

Content Syndication Manager optimizing content distribution across Ziff Davis brands and syndication platforms. Lead strategic planning and analyze data to maximize audience engagement and revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with brands’ editorial and audience development teams to lead strategic, daily planning and positioning of content for key distribution channels.
  • Analyze data and identify trends and growth opportunities across syndication program.
  • Work with commerce teams on strategy to maximize shopping-related content success throughout the year.
  • Collaborate on optimization and timing of content distribution feeds.
  • Manage content removal requests and track data, including executive dashboards to summarize success per platform and month.
  • Coordinate content strategies with international editions of key Ziff Davis brands.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working with recognizable media publishing brands in a content-related role including content creation/journalism and editing (both written and video preferred).
  • Content optimization, distribution and/or audience development function expertise.
  • Clear understanding of best-in-class editorial standards and values.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage complex content calendars, workflows and cross-functional projects, working under pressure or to a deadline.
  • Expertise with multiple CMS platforms, analytics and other publishing tools.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS; some familiarity with RSS/XML syndication feeds.
  • Experience with affiliate commerce/shopping-related content preferred.
  • Experience working with US media brands/businesses; additional international work experience beyond US/UK preferred.
  • Experience working with Generative AI tools (e.g. Google Gemini).
  • Passionate about relevant content topics and strong familiarity with Ziff Davis brands.
