Job Description

Intern supporting content development for National Council initiatives and collaborating across marketing, communications, and events teams. Assisting with project management and developing various types of content.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop content, including blogs, emails, sales collateral, webpages and social media posts, supporting various teams and departments across the National Council.
  • Collaborate with the Content Partner, Editorial, Design and Digital teams to assist in the development of content, and coordinate work for brand campaigns, including National Recovery Month and World Mental Health Day.
  • Support the transition to and rollout of a new Content Management System (CMS) for internal staff use.
  • Project management support and coordination using Asana, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Copilot and additional platforms.
  • Contribute to strategy discussions related to Brand & Content campaigns and projects.
  • Research for special projects and other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current student (completed at least two full-time years of undergraduate study) or a recent graduate (in the last six months) in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Demonstrated organizational, project, and time management skills, capable of completing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
  • Prior experience managing and developing content for various marketing and communications channels, including web, social media, email, SEO or podcasts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
