Job Description

Contract Management Support Subject Matter Expert for Grey Street Consulting supporting FRTIB. Providing contract lifecycle support and acquisition strategy development in a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide optional contract specialist (1102) support to the Acquisition Management Division (AMD) across the full contracting lifecycle, including pre-award, source selection, award, and post-award activities (exercised at the Government’s discretion).
  • Assist with procurement planning, development of acquisition strategies, solicitations, source selection plans, and evaluation documentation.
  • Conduct market analyses, support source selection evaluation teams (non-voting member), and prepare draft award documents, negotiation memoranda, and debriefings.
  • Support post-award contract administration, including preparation of modifications, delivery orders, invoice review and certification recommendations, funding tracking, cost/price analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Maintain contract files, schedules, and documentation; track ceilings, funding, and undefinitized contract actions.
  • Provide recommendations on contracting processes, improvements, and issue resolution to support approximately 100–150 contract actions per year.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management).
  • Must possess FAC-C Professional (Legacy Level III) certification or DAWIA equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of federal contracting experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting the full acquisition lifecycle (pre-award through post-award) in a federal environment.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, agency-specific supplements, and federal contracting best practices.
  • Experience with source selection, cost/price analysis, contract modifications, and invoice processing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to draft clear, compliant acquisition documentation.
  • Prior 1102 contract specialist experience preferred.
