Job Description
Controlling position responsible for financial reporting and strategic analysis for a leading international company. Role includes forecasting, budgeting, and preparing key financial assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of forecasts, reports and presentations as well as ad hoc analyses and evaluations including commentary for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board
- Preparation of KPIs and quarterly extrapolations
- Medium‑term planning of group companies at home and abroad and preparation of the 3‑year plan
- Preparation of the cash flow statement and financial ratios for the stock corporation as part of the annual financial statements (HGB)
- Active participation in the preparation of consolidated financial statements under HGB/IFRS
- Establishment and further development of controlling, KPI systems and financial reporting under HGB/IFRS
- Point of contact for external queries from auditors at home and abroad and close coordination with internal departments
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling or a comparable commercial qualification with further training as a certified accounting specialist (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Several years of professional experience in financial controlling, preferably in internationally operating companies
- Structured working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ideally, experience with DATEV or equivalent accounting software
- Enthusiasm for managing projects and process optimizations
- Good written and spoken English
