Job Description

Editorial Copywriter responsible for creating engaging SEO content for a full-stack marketing agency. Involves writing reviews, guides and aligning content with brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, engaging copy for reviews, listicles, guides, and website pages
  • Write with SEO best practices: search intent alignment, headings, internal linking, and on-page optimisation
  • Summarise and explain key terms and policies in plain language
  • Follow structured templates and editorial guidelines to keep content consistent
  • Edit and improve content for clarity, tone, readability, and SEO performance
  • Work closely with editors and designers to match content to page layouts
  • Ensure all content aligns with legal, brand, and PR guidelines
  • Refresh and update content when information changes
  • Maintain high standards for accuracy, balance, and transparency

Requirements:

  • Native-level Peru Spanish writing and editing
  • Strong writing portfolio (reviews, comparison content, consumer guides, or similar)
  • Solid SEO fundamentals: understanding intent, structuring pages, using headings correctly, and supporting internal linking
  • Excellent sense of tone, clarity, and structure
  • Detail-oriented and careful with facts, wording, and claims
  • Comfortable working independently and hitting deadlines
  • Confident editor: able to improve drafts quickly and consistently
  • Nice to have: Writing experience (sportsbooks, games, entertainment or related content)
  • Experience writing for regulated or compliance-sensitive industries
  • Familiarity with CMS tools and editorial workflows
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools (GA, GSC, Ahrefs, Semrush)
