Job Description

Corporate CDI Market Manager ensuring optimal reimbursement through effective CDI practices at Tenet Healthcare. Led audits, performance tracking, and education initiatives across Florida, South Carolina, and Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for protecting the company's interests and advance business objectives with respect to CDI.
  • Ensure Tenet Clinical Documentation Specialist staff achieve accurate acuity and severity capture.
  • Track & audit CDI performance, create reports & analytics, maintain dashboards, analyze data, monitor Key Performance Indicators.
  • Educate under the direction of the National Director, CDI Education and Process Optimization.
  • Deliver written and verbal reports of findings to CDI Leadership and/or other corporate operations staff as indicated.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of CMS and other payers with regards to Coding guidelines.
  • Manage projects and timelines with a high level of organizational skills.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, AHIMA accredited school, United States, or International School of Medicine.
  • 5+ years in healthcare related field with strong clinical expertise and acumen.
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 50% is required. Selected candidates will be required to pass Motor Vehicle Record check.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, HIM, or healthcare related field (preferred).
  • Previous leadership experience with demonstrated ability to work effectively in time sensitive environment across multiple levels of the organization (preferred).
  • CCDS or CDIP, CCS (preferred).
