Job Description

Responsible for developing export strategies for the wine sector in Europe and North America. Requires strong experience in international markets and wine sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company’s export strategy
  • Identify and prospect new international markets
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with foreign distributors and clients
  • Ensure sales follow-up and maintain international customer relationships
  • Collaborate with the Group representative for the U.S. market
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, purchasing)
  • Participate in international trade shows and commercial missions abroad
  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Conduct competitive and regulatory monitoring
  • Supervise a sales assistant and the country agents concerned
  • Provide regular commercial activity reporting to Management

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in business or a technical field
  • Minimum 7 years’ international experience in export area management roles
  • At least 5 years’ experience marketing to countries within the European zone
  • Good knowledge of the wine sector and export sales techniques
  • Fluent English and proficiency in a second language
  • Availability for international travel
  • Established commercial relationships with key customers, major retail networks and importers
  • Knowledge of the Nordic alcohol monopolies
  • Proficiency in administrative and customs procedures within an Export Department
  • Comfortable managing private-label (MDD) tenders and coordinating the various internal departments
