Job Description
Senior Development Manager leading Vot-ER's fundraising operations through donor engagement and project management. Collaborating with the Development team to build a strong network for civic engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project management of donor cultivation and engagement activities, including events, briefings, webinars, etc (both virtual and in person).
- Develop and update fundraising messaging and materials.
- Create and drive the execution of a strategic, creative fundraising plan for individual donor engagement.
- Write and review grant proposals and reports prior to submission; ensure timely submission.
- Analyze donor data, giving trends, and campaign outcomes to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a fundraising role preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and inclusion.
- Familiarity with donor-oriented CRMs (i.e. GiveButter, Salesmate)
- Familiarity with technology and project management platforms: Google suite, Slack, Asana
- Comfort and familiarity using AI in fundraising practices
- Demonstrated success in project management, and people management.
- Educational qualifications include relevant experience for success in the fundraising role.
