Job Description

Country Manager responsible for launching Pear Tree's UK business from the ground up. Overseeing client relationships, strategic partnerships, and building a UK team.

Responsibilities:

  • **What You'll Be Doing**
  • Launch and grow Pear Tree's UK market from day one
  • Convert inbound opportunities into long-term client partnerships
  • Build relationships with founders, executives, and business owners across the UK
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and referral channels
  • Design scalable sales processes and a repeatable go-to-market strategy
  • Recruit, train, and lead future UK team members as the business grows
  • Represent Pear Tree within the UK business community

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development
  • Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and close deals independently
  • Experience managing both inbound pipelines and self-generated outbound activity
  • Background in building or scaling a sales function, team, or new market
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by ownership
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Able to operate with high autonomy in a fast-growth environment
  • Based in the UK
