Job Description
Credit Products Manager supporting first-line credit underwriting and portfolio management. Supervising a team to maintain credit quality and compliance with risk appetite.
Responsibilities:
- Supports first-line credit underwriting and portfolio management
- Supervises a team of underwriters and credit analysts
- Oversees risk grading, loan evaluation, and portfolio monitoring
- Identifies potential risks and trends using data-driven insights
- Collaborates with sales, risk, and credit teams
- Implements credit strategies and streamlines underwriting processes
- Ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Assists in developing and mentoring team members
Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Economics or related field
- 10+ Years of 1st line of defense credit underwriting, portfolio management, and risk management experience
- 3+ years of experience in managing teams of credit analysts, underwriters in the specialty vertical
- Experience and expertise in credit bureaus, credit decision engines, credit and cash flow modeling, income/identity verification and loss forecasting
