Job Description
Part-time Yamaha specialist training retail associates and merchandising Guitar Center storefronts. Supporting dealer growth across the San Francisco Bay Area through store visits and product education.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sales Training Manager and National Account Manager to grow retail business through focused training and merchandising activations
- Travel and provide support to National Accounts Storefronts within the assigned territory
- Educate and train dealer/retail sales associates on Yamaha products, technology, and brand through store visits and phone calls
- Maintain a highly visible presence in National Account stores through account visits
- Provide feedback to the Sales Training Manager about store needs, including low stock, floor changes, damaged displays, and competitor information
- Provide trade show support as requested by the Sales Training Manager and/or Marketing departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Previous Guitar Center retail or operations experience required
- Music Technology savvy
- Passion for building relationships with store associates and managers
- Confident public speaker with strong presentation skills
- Willing to work a part-time position
- Must be able to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Reliable transportation required
- Mobile device with data access required to submit store reports
- Advanced computer skills
