Job Description
Design Copywriter shaping brand voice, launch content, and UX copy for Recraft’s AI image-generation tools. Writing across social, video, SEO, and product experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evolve Recraft's tone-of-voice guidelines
- Ensure consistent brand voice across every channel
- Write social posts, release announcements, and launch copy for new models and features across X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Discord
- Write scripts and copy for motion videos, tutorials, interviews, and other storytelling formats
- Contribute words to special projects and creative campaigns
- Write and edit SEO articles for the blog
- Create UX copy for onboarding, empty states, tooltips, and feature descriptions in Recraft Studio
- Help name new models, features, and products and write their introductory copy
- Test new models in Recraft Studio before release and write from first-hand experience
- Work with design, product, and model researchers; report to the Head of Content as part of the Creative Team
Requirements:
- A design background (graphic, brand, type, UI, or editorial) with writing as your main craft, or years of close work with designers and fluent design knowledge
- Excellent written English (C2 or equivalent)
- Published work that can be shown, such as articles, a blog or newsletter, social accounts, or product copy
- Ability to write across launch posts, long-form articles, and UX copy while maintaining the voice
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and regular usage
- Curiosity about the design world
- Nice to have: personal blog, newsletter, or Substack about design, type, visual culture, or AI
- Nice to have: SEO writing experience
- Nice to have: UX writing or content design experience
- Nice to have: naming experience
- Nice to have: scriptwriting for video or motion
- Nice to have: experience at a design tool, creative tech company, or design studio
