Job Description

Personalization Strategist designing Adobe Target experiences for Avantor, a global life-science products and services provider. Driving segmentation, experimentation, and data-informed digital customer journeys across web and mobile channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized experience strategies supporting customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across digital channels
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Content teams to align personalization with campaign objectives, lifecycle touchpoints, and segment-level goals
  • Translate personalization ideas into scalable experiments, decision logic, and test frameworks
  • Develop and refine audience segmentation strategies using behavioral, demographic, CRM, and lifecycle data
  • Define targeting rules, segment logic, and eligibility criteria for dynamic content delivery
  • Optimize targeting strategies based on campaign performance and customer behavior
  • Lead A/B, multivariate, and rule-based personalization experiments across web and mobile experiences
  • Define hypotheses, KPIs, and success criteria; document and conduct QA for experiments
  • Analyze campaign results and build dashboards surfacing insights and audience behaviors
  • Contribute to post-campaign reviews and identify personalization opportunities
  • Serve as the personalization point of contact for Web Production, Creative, Content Strategy, CRM, and Demand Generation teams
  • Collaborate on campaign planning and stay current on industry trends and platform updates

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Science strongly preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in personalization, digital marketing, UX optimization, or marketing technology roles
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio
  • Experience partnering with data and technical teams
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or front-end code structures and their impact on rendering and personalization deployments
  • Experience with CDP platforms, CRM integrations, or audience orchestration tools
  • Understanding of UX design, behavioral science, or CRO frameworks
  • Experience in a B2B, SaaS, or multi-region environment with complex customer journeys
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Adobe Target, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, or other experimentation/personalization platforms
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, lifecycle marketing, targeting logic, and A/B testing methodologies
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in Agile or matrixed environments
