Job Description
Digital Sales Representative expanding adoption of Intuitive's digital healthcare solutions. Selling to hospitals, training surgeons, and managing customer pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Execute current and future digital strategies
- Sell digital products to targeted customers and expand adoption of Intuitive's digital portfolio
- Teach surgeons how to access and use the technology
- Serve as liaison between internal teams and customers
- Provide surgeon feedback and ensure ease of use through training
- Collaborate cross-functionally to target customers, drive product utilization, and support new and existing accounts
- Consult with customers and understand their needs
- Drive adoption and utilization through targeting, customer support, consultation, and training
- Expand the digital user base by working with surgeon thought leaders and key customers to develop a qualified lead funnel
- Partner with Key Account, Clinical, Capital, Sales, Marketing, and Digital Networking teams
- Engage prospective customers through video meetings, email, and in-person meetings where applicable
- Support regional and virtual market development events, trade shows, and industry activities
- Develop key opinion leaders for the digital portfolio
- Achieve quarterly and yearly sales and adoption goals
- Use Salesforce.com to organize activities, manage pipeline, and report territory progress
- Manage administrative tasks, reporting, support activity outcomes, and expense reports
- Support product demonstrations and attend cases as needed
- Manage a large pipeline and territory of surgeon targets
- Become a subject matter expert and adapt to new features and innovations
- Improve internal team processes and approaches
- Gather and funnel customer feedback to engineering for product improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development role in the medical field
- Proven experience with cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated success influencing customers and leadership via phone and video meeting
- Ability to communicate and present ideas clearly to internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders, including surgeons, nurse managers, and hospital C-suite leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed approach to meet project/team goals with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently remotely with some in-person sales activities
- Ability to navigate complex sales scenarios
- Strong time management and detailed organization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Basic understanding of HL7, PACS, DICOM, and EPIC interfaces preferred
- Experience working in hospital operating room environments preferred
- Experience training physicians preferred
