Job Description

Regional Sales Manager leading facility accounts and sales representatives for Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech Surgery business in Louisiana. Driving surgical technology growth through clinical selling, coaching, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an account plan for each facility
  • Identify and foster relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across facilities
  • Utilize people, processes, programs, tools, and technology to meet customer needs
  • Manage and coordinate Demand and Access resources according to facility-level needs
  • Create facility-level cost-benefit analyses for resource deployment and opportunity prioritization
  • Collaborate across MedTech Surgery to leverage resources for facility needs
  • Examine contract issues and make recommendations based on financial analysis
  • Use business acumen tools to identify facility-specific growth opportunities
  • Manage sales representatives and conduct periodic field visits to develop selling skills
  • Coach sales representatives to achieve individual development plans
  • Recruit and hire qualified sales associates to fill territories
  • Lead the team in executing the selling process
  • Conduct customer engagement, product presentations, and objection handling
  • Understand surgical product use and coach representatives on customer targeting and segmentation
  • Conduct business in accordance with J&J policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an applicable field is required
  • MBA (or equivalent) degree preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant business and/or leadership experience required
  • 3-5 years in clinical sales, marketing, professional education, sales learning/development, or commercial functional experience strongly preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience coaching, mentoring, and/or training
  • Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program preferred
  • Valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States required
  • Ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekends, up to 60% of the time
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and Apple applications
  • Clinical, business acumen, and people development capabilities
  • Understanding of appropriate surgical use of products within defined surgical specialties
  • Ability to handle customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology
  • Ability to conduct sales presentations using current sales methods
  • Ability to lead selling processes in a concise, compliant, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner
  • Knowledge of Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures
