Job Description
Director building Bill Gosling Outsourcing’s AI Data Operations practice. Developing scalable AI services, partnerships, client solutions, and revenue streams for global delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Build, launch, and scale Bill Gosling Outsourcing’s AI Data Operations practice
- Define the AI Data Operations strategy, service portfolio, positioning, and go-to-market proposition
- Identify opportunities across the AI development, training, evaluation, deployment, and production lifecycle
- Develop scalable AI operations solutions, operating models, delivery methodologies, commercial constructs, governance frameworks, and implementation playbooks
- Build and win client opportunities through relationship development, discovery sessions, solution workshops, proposals, and negotiations
- Design data collection, preparation, enrichment, curation, validation, labeling, annotation, model evaluation, human-preference, human-in-the-loop, trust and safety, computer vision, autonomous systems, and AI monitoring operations
- Establish AI quality, governance, privacy, security, escalation, exception-management, and production-monitoring controls
- Represent BGO in strategic client and industry conversations and develop thought leadership
- Build strategic partnerships with AI-native companies, hyperscalers, AI platforms, data technology providers, and specialist service providers
- Enable global delivery by translating solution concepts into scalable operating models and managed-service operations
- Develop sustainable opportunity pipelines and new revenue streams for the practice
Requirements:
- Ideally 5+ years of consulting and sales experience
- Experience with AI domain expertise, commercial leadership, solution design, practice development, and global operations
- Knowledge of AI/ML data operations, training and evaluation datasets, data labeling and multimodal annotation, model evaluation, human-in-the-loop systems, reinforcement learning and human preference data, agentic AI operations, AI quality and safety, computer vision, autonomous systems, data governance, and production AI monitoring
- Ability to develop AI Data Operations strategies, service portfolios, operating models, delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and implementation playbooks
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders across AI, Data, Product, Technology, Operations, Procurement, and related functions
- Ability to lead client discovery sessions, solution workshops, presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, security, and responsible-data-handling requirements
- Ability to establish quality frameworks, quality-control and quality-assurance mechanisms, escalation frameworks, and production-monitoring frameworks
- Ability to build partnerships across the AI technology and data ecosystem
- Ability to work with global delivery teams to create scalable operating models and repeatable delivery standards
